Zusammenfassung |
Aus der Sicht der Münchner
Munich kicked off the game, playing against the wind. Straight away, following a good chase from the kick off, the Lions pinned HRK back on the edge of their 22 yard line. Following some good defence from the blue and white they were able to turn the ball over and Harald broke free to score a good try.
Throughout the game – Munich tended to play a straight forward driving game with many rolling mauls that made good yardage. This coupled with our stern defence made for a difficult game for HRK and possibly a difficult game for spectators to enjoy.
From the base of the rucks and mauls – our scrum half Robbie gave good ball to the back line who made some good breaks but the backline moves tended to slow down before the ball reached the wingers. A few up and unders were kicked and the ball was lost on a some occasions following these.
On the times that the ball went out wide, Munich scored – twice more from Harald giving him a Hattrick, and once from Fionn. Munich also had a try disallowed after the referee adjudged the ball to have been held up on the line after a series of pick and drives from the forwards.
